Once regarded as the poor relation of the shellfish family because of their small size and relative abundance, mussels are now very popular and widely appreciated. The most common Blue or European mussels have sleek, shiny shells and tender, nutritious flesh. We know you are exigent with your food and that`s why we purchase our mussels directly from the fisherman that catches them early in the morning just to be freshly served.
Depending on the season we serve mussels or oysters because we don`t want to buy them from the supermarket where the products come from sea farms artificially fed. So we prefer to serve fresh food and if we can`t find any we will suggest another fresh product or just tell you to come back when we have the right product.
